Teacher’s Highland Cream is a brand of blended Scotch whisky produced in Glasgow, Scotland, by Beam Suntory, the US-headquartered subsidiary of Suntory Holdings of Osaka, Japan. This scotch whisky boasts a 45% malt content, notably high for a standard blend, and has at its heart smoky malt whisky from Ardmore distillery. In total, more than 30 different malt whiskies are combined in its recipe.
Teacher’s Highland Cream has heavy, peaty aromas that are especially noticeable on leaving accompanied by a gentle highland peat smoke tang, It also has a deep and robust maltiness accompanied by a gentle Highland peat smoke tang; this flavour slowly fades to allow the sweeter fruitier flavours of apples, pears and honey maturity to show through. It is full of rich malts and maturity that slowly fades to a silky rounded texture; this whisky is a delight, full of depth and substance and well balanced with a clean busy flavoured fullness that ends with a slow fading of flavours.
