The Auchentoshan American Oak has a rich bright gold colour. It is full of complex aromas of toffee popcorn wafts, sweet spice from the oak, fresh lemon zesty-ness and a hint of candied orange peel.
Introduced in 2014 as a replacement of the classic, the Auchentoshan American Oak is the only Scottish distillery that makes triple distilled whisky.
Auchentoshan makes for an easy drink because of the soft and silky mouthfeel. It is a combination of sweet notes of vanilla and caramelized sugar. Also present are bits of spiciness and pronounced coconut notes.
It combines drinkability, flavour, and value. One you should try on your next drinking escapade.
Did you know that the distillery’s parent also owns Jim Beam , Knob Creek, and Maker’s Mark? We thought you should know.
