Top 4 Valentine’s Cocktails: Celebrate Love in Every Sip.

Valentine’s is here! A time to put on our romantic hats and whip some ideas to please the ones we love. But these ideas don’t come easy. While some few good men like us are busy scouring the internet and even going the extra mile to watch Soap Operas for tips, others will simply suggest a friendly game of hide-and-seek on 13th, then show up on 15th. But you don’t have to be them, for there are a number activities you can actually enjoy doing (with your cloths on) on Valentine’s, like making cocktails. Below are some simple Valentine cocktail recipes you can try out with your loved one this season.valentine's cocktails recipes

1. La Paloma (Honey + Ruby Red Version)

This is a fun cocktail with lots of variations that you can play around with. We chose the Honey + Ruby Red Version. Hopefully, it becomes your favourite after trying it out!

  • Ruby red grapefruit.
  • Tequila
  • Lime Juice
  • Club Soda
  • Lime wedge to garnish

How to:

  • Squeeze the ruby red grapefruit in a glass.
  • In the juice obtained, add some tequila, followed by honey. (Worth noting is that honey does not dissolve in anything cold, therefore do not freeze or add in ice cubes. At least not yet).
  • Give the mixture a good stir.
  • Now squeeze in some lime juice then drop in the ice cubes.
  • Top up your glass with the club soda, then garnish with lime wedge and sip away.

2. Scarlet O’Hara Cocktail

One of the easiest ones to make out there. Actually, this is one of the few good things that come easy!

  • Add ice into the mixture and give a good shake.
  • Now fill the remaining half of the glass with sparkling wine.

4. Pink Lady Cocktail.

This one is a classic from the 30s. Anyone who prefers the old school route, this one is for you!
